Berroco Portfolio is a collaboration between the Berroco Design Team and a few of our favorite independent designers. Portfolio vol.1 celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca yarn line, inviting designers to work with their choice of the four weights to create innovative and timeless wardrobe pieces.

This book includes the following patterns:

Pietra is worked from side to side, with an ingenious, cabled cowl that is shaped with short rows.

Hestia is an intricate, cabled sock pattern worked from the cuff to the toe.

Gorse is a stunning, lace-front cardigan created with innovative construction.

Nest, a repeating feather motif over a large, lace triangle shawl that is easy to knit and style.

Etruscan is a classic accessory with modern proportions. Knit on big needles, it is a bold and cozy cabled scarf with extra long ribbing on each end.

Edelweiss is a darling feminine sock pattern worked from the top down with a picot-edge, stranded colorwork cuff, and stripes at the heel and toe.

Rustling Leaves is worked designed with a combination of cable/ garter stitch to create a beautiful, cozy shrug perfect for layering during the chilly, changing seasons

Wonderfully mod, Banner is a two-toned, textured pullover that is seriously fun.

Rye is a timeless cardigan worked in the round from the bottom up with lovely textured panels flatteringly placed on the sleeves and the body.

Mrs. Watson is a garter stitch scarf with a genius design, using a series of short rows and strategic increases to create feather-like stripes.

Helen is worked from the top down in the round. This pullover has a hybrid raglan-yoke with Bohus-inspired stranded colorwork.

Chaparral is a beautiful open cardigan with an allover cable pattern that works magic - flattering all who wear it.

Fishbones is a whimsical hat worked in the round with a traditional stranded colorwork pattern and an optional pom-pom on top.
