General Statement of Principles As described in detail below, any information we gather at this web site is strictly for our use and is not shared with any other entity, public or private, for any reason - period. We will not sell or give away any lists or other data that we may retain and we do not purchase such information from other sources.
RETURNS
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS.
ALL UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 25% RESTOCKING FEE & ANY SHIPPING
COSTS THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN APPLICABLE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER WILL ALSO BE
DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL AMOUNT OF THE REFUND. Shipment
Our standard and recommended shipping method is UPS
however, we will ship USPS upon request. After placing your order you will get an estimate of shipment costs and with your package you will receive an invoice showing the actual cost of shipment. Please note, we do NOT make any profit from shipment charges to our customers. As with our yarn prices, we put forth our best effort to minimize your cost for shipment.
PACKAGE LOSS:
Little Knits will not be held responsible or assume any
liability for packages lost or damaged in shipment/transit if customers'
selected method of shipment is United States Postal Service. This includes
all shipping methods offered by USPS. In the event of loss or damage for
shipments with USPS, customers agree to contact USPS on their own to resolve
such matters and agree not to hold Little Knits responsible for any loss/damage
or any other damages deemed associated with their purchase.
To avoid such losses and
losses resulting from damages we strongly recommend United Parcel Service and/or
FedEx as your primary shipping method. UPS is Little Knits' default
shipping method and when customers change their shipping method to USPS they
automatically agree to assume all liability for package loss and/or damage and
release Little Knits from all liabilities associated with their purchases.
For packages lost or damaged
while shipping with UPS and/or FedEx, Little Knits will initiate a claim process
and put forth the best effort to recover customers' purchases. If such
recovery is not possible Little Knits will ship a replacement for customers'
purchases within 30 days (with the assumption that such items are available), or
give customers a refund for the value of the said purchases. Little Knits
does not assume any liability beyond the value of your purchases and by shopping
from Little Knits you agree to the terms stated here.
Statistical Data Our servers (as most) track IP addresses and referring pages to help with site maintenance and improvements. This data is viewed only as anonymous statistics to show the busiest times of the day or week, pages with errors and how effective our advertising has been. This information is not used for any other purpose. Personal Information Collected and Order Processing With the exception of credit card info, we store all information from your order form to facilitate shipping and customer service inquiries. You may elect to have your information completely removed from this system by e-mailing us at
customerserv@littleknits.com with your request. We will respond with a positive confirmation once your request has been completed. Again, please note, we do not store your credit card information. Pursuant to the processing of your order, you will receive an online invoice and a hard-copy of your invoice will be sent to you with your purchases.
