SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

As shipping rates are determined by the final weight of an order, we cannot list shipping rates for our non-U.S. shoppers. The website will give an estimate during checkout. USPS First Class Mail is the least expensive method and can be used for packages weighing up to 4 lbs (PLEASE NOTE: USPS First Class Mail is  VERY SLOW). USPS Priority Mail is the next method and can be used for any weight. We try to minimize shipping costs by using lighter packaging. 

SHIPPING RATES FOR US CUSTOMERS

We offer three shipping methods; Flat Rate Shipping, USPS and UPS. The website has prices for all three methods. There are drop boxes with different shipping options during checkout. You can compare shipping prices before finalizing your order.

Flat Rate Shipping Contiguous United States

These rates are available for contiguous US orders. Please choose “Flat Rate Shipping” during checkout.

  • Orders of $1 - $74.99 ships for a flat rate of $10.00
  • Orders of $75 - $124.99 ship for a flat rate of $7.00
  • Orders of $125 and more ship for a flat rate of $5.00  PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT ABLE TO COMBINE MULTIPLE ORDERS.

Flat Rate Shipping (Hawaii, Alaska, APO/AE and all other US Territories)

A single rate of  $15.00 will apply to all US orders going to the states of Alaska and Hawaii, APO/AE or other US Terrirories.  Please choose “Flat Rate Shipping” during checkout.

USPS Shipping

Please note, USPS shipping services are unreliable, where tracking numbers are not scanned and deliveries are often delayed (especially true for Priority shipments).  Little Knits is not responsible for services provided by USPS and any delivery delays.  We do not issue refunds for delayed USPS shipments as this is not a function of Little Knits.

 

SHIPPING RATES FOR CANADIAN CUSTOMERS

 (1) Our shipping estimates come directly from USPS and FedEx systems, we do not add extras to their quotes.

 (2) USPS First Class Mail is the least expensive method and can be used for packages weighing up to 4 lbs.  PLEASE NOTE: USPS first class is very slow and unreliable.  Packages that weigh 4 pounds or more are shipped with USPS Priority mail.

 (3) FedEx Ground is an alternative shipping method and in general their prices are lower than USPS Priority rates. FedEx is better about tracking and honoring insurance claims but for international shipments they can be more costly as they charge brokerage fees.

 

SHIPPING RATES FOR INTERNATIONAL (NON-CANADIAN) SHOPPERS

All international shipping charges (to any location not mentioned in the US Customers and Canadian Customers sections above) are quoted at the actual cost of shipping.

 

SHIPPING INSURANCE

As Little Knits is not responsible for shipments once they leave our premises (up to and including the point of delivery), we strongly recommend to our customers that they purchase shipping insurance to cover lost or damaged packages.  Shipping insurance can be purchased during the normal checkout process, which allows us to purchase additional insurance from a third party other than the carrier.  Insurance covers all products purchased but not the cost of shipment paid or cost of insurance, if any.  LOSSES OF UNINSURED PACKAGES FOR ANY REASON IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF LITTLE KNITS, all non-insured purchases are made with the understanding of and agreement with  this policy.

 

COMBINING ORDERS

We cannot always accommodate special requests to combine shipments as it impedes with our ability to efficiently fulfill orders. When possible, we will combine shipments with the following conditions:

  • Each combined shipment will be assessed a $1.99 charge per order to cover a fraction of the additional shipping charges and  credit card fees  incurred by Little Knits.

 

CHANGES TO ORDERS & ORDER  CANCELLATIONS

ALL ORDERS ARE FINAL ONCE PLACED.  IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR MAKE CHANGES TO AN ORDER PLEASE CONTACT US AT OUR TOLL FREE NUMBER AT 1.800.877.5852 ASAP.  WE ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE ORDER CHANGES THAT ARE COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL OR SOCIAL MEDIA MESSAGES.  ALL ORDER CANCELLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A 10% RESTOCKING FEE (we are charged a processing fee by credit cards that we cannot get back when we issue a refund).  ALTERNATIVELY, WE CAN ISSUE A FULL STORE CREDIT FOR CANCELLED ORDER (no restocking fees).

 

RETURNS POLICY

PLEASE NOTE, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS AND WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE EXCHANGES.  UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS, REFUSED PACKAGES, AND PICK-UP ORDERS CANCELLED AFTER A WEEK OF COMPLETION WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 20% RESTOCKING FEE.  ANY SHIPPING COSTS INCURRED BY LITTLE KNITS WILL ALSO BE DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL AMOUNT OF THE REFUND. LITTLE KNITS WILL NOT PAY FOR OR REIMBURSE THE COST OF SHIPPING ON A RETURN.

WE DO NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS ONCE THEY ARE SHIPPED. ONCE A PACKAGE IS SHIPPED, ALL RISK OF LOSS PASSES TO THE BUYER. 

 

FEDEX RETURNS

All FedEx shipments are subject to a $20 returned package fee or the actual return/reshipment cost (if higher).  Failure to collect from a FedEx hold location (or an affiliated ship center), will result in returned packages, which is subject to the aforementioned $20 returned package fee or the actual return/reshipment cost (if higher).
