This twinset starts with a short-sleeves top that is inspired by an Indian choli. It is fitted through the use of a ribbed lace on the bottom of the body and the sleeves. The beading is optional. The lace causes gentle scallops arount the bottom of the border.

The other piece of the this twin set is a rectangular shawl that uses the same lace stitch pattern. The shawl is worked in the same weight of the yarn, but on a much larger needle. The shawl has a simple rectangular shape continuing the choli theme.

Sizes:

Top: 34.5 (38.5, 42.75, 46.75, 50.75)" finished chest measurement.

Shawl: One size, approx 30" x 72" blocked.

Materials:

Lorna's Laces Swirl DK 50% Merino wool/50% silk (50g/150 yd per ball), or other DK weight merino/silk blend yarn.

Top: 7 (7, 8, 9, 11) skeins - shown in color Aqua.

Shawl: 7 skeins, shown in color Georgetown.

When substituting yarn it is advised to swatch for correct gauge.
