The summer issue of Interweave Knits looks to the woods, the fields, and the home with projects that run the gamut from quick to epic with 20+ knitting patterns.

We look at the intersection of knitting and The Great Outdoors with projects for summer recreation and stories from knitters who hike, camp, cycle, and more. Then turn inwards with home décor projects and a tutorial on making braided "rag" rugs with I-cord and sock yarn.

Also, we visit the historic Harrisville Designs mill; take a look at new linen blends; and learn about woolen-spun yarns.
