This cardigan pattern uses the fairisle / stranded technique of knitting to work the border on the sleeves and main body. The third color used in the border is added once the garment is complete using the duplicate stitch (Swiss Darning) method of embroidery. This garment is knitted in one piece to the armholes. It is worked flat, but it is suggested that you use circular needles because of the large number of stitches cast on.
