Knitting Pure and Simple - Bulky Hooded Vest for Women

A nice fast to knit zippered vest written for bulky weight yarn at a gauge of 3 1/2 to the inch. It is slightly fitted. Has directions for a collared version also.

Sizes- x-small, small, medium, large, x-large.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 33 (36, 39, 42, 46) ins.
Length- 24 (24¼, 24½, 25, 25¼) ins.

Materials- bulky weight yarn:
approx. 750 (795, 835, 875, 935) yds.
24 inch circular needles sizes 10 and 9 or sizes required to get the gauge.
24 or 27 inch separating zipper.
Stitch holders.

Gauge- using the larger size needles in stockinette st,
14 sts equal 4 inches.
