Berroco Gaia is a soft summer tweed made entirely of recycled fiber. This DK weight has a classic construction with a smooth finish, for a refined twist on eco-friendly.

Fiber Content: 70% Recycled Cotton and 30% Recycled Polyester.

Yardage: Approximately 140 Yards in each 50 gram skein.

Knitting Gauge: Approximately 5.5 Stitches to an inch on U.S. size 6 needles (4 mm).

Crochet Gauge: Approximately 5 single crochet to an inch. on US size F hook (3.75 mm).

Care: Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

A long ombré gradient yarn with a gorgeous color effect, Isola has a cotton, linen and Viscose fiber combination and comes in big 100 gram cakes with generous 284 yards. Isola has a beautiful textured construction and works up at a DK gauge with a subtle sheen and spectacular drape. This yarn is a great alternative for those of us who prefer to work with non-wool fiber combinations. Isola wears comfortably next to skin and can be used to make all sorts of garments and accessories that would work with its gauge.
