Collection: Malabrigo Torzal

Torzal is unlike almost every Malabrigo yarn we have seen, and we are completely smitten.  Instead of simply dyeing several colors along the length of the yarn, Malabrigo has twisted two individually colored plies together, creating tiny spirals of contrasting color throughout every strand.  The effect is beautifully marled, delightfully lively and just a little bit mischievous.

Every twist reveals something new: a flash of turquoise, a speck of gold, a ribbon of berry, an unexpected pop of green. It has the charming, one-of-a-kind appearance of handspun yarn, paired with the softness and consistency we love from Malabrigo. Honestly, it is adorable.

Made from 100% superwash merino wool in a versatile Sport/DK weight, Torzal brings extraordinary depth, movement and texture to even the simplest stitches.  Work it up into cozy yet light wearing garments, cheerful accessories, textured patterns or simple stitch patterns and let those colorful little plies perform all the magic.

Yardage: Approximately 160 yards (146 meters) in each 50 gram hank.

Gauge: Approximately 5.75-6.5 stitches to an inch on US size 3-5 needles (3.25-3.75 mm).

Care: Machine washable, using the gentle cycle with cold water. Dry flat.
