Noro Haunui Silk (pronounced Hoo-noo-ee and meaning “place of the winds”) is a natural blend of raw mulberry silk and mixed-breed Haunui merino wool from the Taranui farm in New Zealand. This single-ply yarn has a subtle thick-and-thin texture, creating fabrics with rustic character and luxurious softness. Un-dyed and minimally processed to honor the wool’s natural qualities, Haunui Silk is available in rich, earthy shades of oatmeal, brown, gray, and black. Its heavy worsted gauge makes it a user-friendly choice for durable outerwear garments with a touch of elegance.
