When the owners of Schaefer Yarn decided to retire they sold their remaining Trenna yarn base to Little Knits, a luxurious 50-50 merino and silk lace weight yarn. We then sent it all to Lorna's Laces for hand dyeing.

Trenna is a luxurious lace weight yarn that is available exclusively through Little Knits. It comes in 100 gram hanks with generous 1250 yards of yarn, which is enough for large size shawl/wrap or a medium size garment. Trenna has a smooth and soft hand with a subtle silky sheen and works up with a beautiful drape.

Fiber Content: 50% Merino Wool and 50% Silk (soft and luscious with a beautiful subtle sheen).

Yardage: Approximately 1250 yards in each 100 gram hank.

Weight: Lace.

Gauge: As with all lace weight yarns gauge would vary based on the project being planned.

Care: Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Spun in Italy and hand-dyed in the U.S.
