A 100% extra fine Merino yarn spun in Italy, Bergamo Light is hand dyed in beautiful color lines exclusively for Little Knits. Bergamo Light has a bouncy multi-ply that is characteristic of high-end merino yarn lines made in Italy and comes in big 100 gram hanks with generous 360 yards of yarn. We have used Bergamo Light for socks as well as other light garments and accessories that wear comfortably next to skin. One hank of Bergamo light will make a pair of socks for average size feet, for larger sizes and long cuffs we have used 1.25 hanks total.

Gauge: Approximately 6.5 stitches to an inch on U.S. size 2-4 needles.
