CUSCO is a luxurious four-ply DK weight yarn made from 100% Baby Alpaca. Wonderfully soft with a delicate halo and subtle natural sheen, it produces garments and accessories with beautiful drape, warmth, and an elegant finish.

The baby alpaca fiber is sourced from Peru, where alpacas are raised in their natural highland environment. The yarn is spun and dyed in Peru by a fair-trade certified production partner and is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class I certified, making it suitable even for textiles intended for infants and young children.

CUSCO is exceptionally soft against the skin, making it an excellent choice for sweaters, cardigans, shawls, scarves, cowls, hats, and other accessories you'll enjoy wearing for years. It can also be held double with lace weight yarns or mohair to create even more loft, warmth, and softness.

Knitting Gauge: Approximately5.25 stitches to an inch on US size 6-8 needles (4-5mm).

Care: Machine washable using the gentle cycle with cold water.  Dry flat away from direct sunlight for color longevity.
