Product Details
For some time, Mia has been fascinated with how a shawl grows, without seeing the stem that growth originates from, so she tends to design shawls that seem to develop organically but from a slightly hidden center spine. Inspired by the growth of plants, Mia wanted to see how a shawl would look if it could be entirely composed of leaves and flowers. The pattern "Macrophylla" is an attempt to combine leaves and flowers onto a coherent surface, hence why she choose the name "Macrophylla" for this project; in the Latin word meaning 'Containing large leaves'.
