100% organic wool, GOTS certified and soft wash treated (chlorine free) for easy care. The ring-spinning process used to make Semilla Cable yarn line adds stability and makes it the perfect yarn for both children’s and adult knitwear and accessories. Ring spun yarns are more durable and last longer than their regular counterparts.
As indicated from its name, Smeilla has a cable construction. It comes in 50 gram skeins with 158 yards of yarn and works up at a DK weight. The raw wool for Semilla Cablé, like all our Semilla wool types, is from GOTS certified farms in Argentina. It is spun and dyed in Italy.
Fiber Content: 100% GOTS certified organic wool.
Yardage: Approximately 158 yards in each 50 gram skein.
Knitting Gauge: Approximately 5-5.25 Stitches to an inch on US size 6-8 needles (4-5 mm).
