Little Knits Bergamo is a beautiful DK weight yarn with a 100% Merino Extrafine Superwash fiber content. The base for this yarn line is spun in Italy with a bouncy multi-ply, which results in great stitch definition and long wearing garments and accessories. Bergamo comes in 100 gram hanks with approximately 275 yards of yarn, it has a soft and squishy hand, and it is hand-dyed in small batches. One hank of Bergamo is sufficient for a hat or a cowl or a pair of mittens. Three to four hanks would make a nice size shawl and 4-5 hanks would make a medium sized top. Bergamo is available in beautiful near-solid, variegated and splatter colors.
Fiber Content: 100% Merino Extrafine Superwash
Yardage: 275 yards of yarn in each 100 gram hank.
Gauge: Approximately 5-5.5 stitches to an inch on U.S. size 4-6 needles.
Care: Machine wash cold. Dry flat.
