A special limited production of Malabrigo Sock dyed in speckled gradients, named for the way the yarn changes color as you work with it.
Malabrigo has hand-dyed their popular 100% superwash Merino wool fingering weight yarn in stunning, color changing gradients. Each gradient shifts from light to dark or dark to light (depending on whether you pull from center or outside) with a speckled dyeing technique to help the color blend seamlessly. This yarn is unique to other gradient yarns in that it produces a more dappled color shift. A fun yarn for shawls, hats, cowls, scarves & pullovers.
Fiber Content: 100% Superwash Merino Wool.
Yardage: Approximately 440 yards in each 100 gram hank.
Knitting Gauge: Approximately 8 stitches per 1” on US 1-3 (2.25-3.25mm) needles.
Crochet Gauge: Approximately 8 SC to an inch on US B-1 to E-4 (2.25-3.5 mm) hook.
Weight: Super Fine/Fingering.
Care: Machine washable, using the gentle cycle with cold water. Dry flat.
