A Noro Nishiki Pattern - Simple Ruana (PDF)

Keep crisp and cool in a retro-chic ruana. It is knit side to side in one piece, beginning and ending with rows of garter and divided at the center to form the open fronts. After the piece is completed. wide garter-stitch borders are picked up and knit at the lower edges. Nishiki, a glimmering cotton blend, texturizes the stockinette fabric. Worked across a large number of stitches, shown in colorway #12 Fairway, yields pinstripe-like tone shifts in sporty greens.

Gauges: 14 sts and 24 rows to 4in/10cm over Stockinette st using
size US 9/5.5mm needle. 14 sts and 32 rows to 4in/10cm over garter st using size US 9/
5.5mm needle.
