A Noro Kanzashi Pattern - Open Cardigan - (PDF)

Audrey Drysdale’s stunning cardigan, roomy and easy to knit, alternates stockinette stripes of Bachi, shown in #1 and #3, with garter stripes of the slubbier Kanzashi, shown in #3. The body is worked in one piece to the underarm, then separately to the shoulders. Garter stitch edges the lower hem and is picked up and knit along the front and neck bands as well.

Craft: Knitting.

Materials: 2 (3, 3, 3, 3) Skeins of NORO Bachi each, shown in #3 (A) and #1 (B), and 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) balls of NORO Kanzashi, shown in #3 (C). Both yarn lines have been discontinued. Other worsted, aran and bulky weight yarns can be used as replacements. Please swatch before casting on and note that the finished garment will look different with different yarn lines.
