Wellingborough is a triangular shawl combining stockinette, lace and garter stitches. The shawl starts with a triangle worked in garter stitch. When the triangle is complete, stitches are picked up along the two sides and the rest of the shawl is worked top down, one side at a time. The left and right side of the shawl are worked alternately, on separate needles.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Width: 75.25” / 191 cm. Depth: 29.25” / 74 cm approximately.
YARN: Three skeins of Malabrigo Sock or Malabrigo Ultimate Sock.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS: 2 US #5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, 47” / 120 cm long. 2 removable stitch markers
